A special ceremony was held in New York City on August, 16th for more than 300 former crew members of the USS Intrepid. Some, including World War 2 veterans from New York and New Jersey, had not seen their ship in decades until they went to Pier 86 to visit the Intrepid's flight deck. They helped celebrate the 75th anniversary of the commissioning of the aircraft carrier. Since 1982, it's served as the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.
