Tightest Security Ever For A NYC Thanksgiving Day Parade

Officials say this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City will have the tightest security ever.  NYPD Chief Terry Monahan reminds folks if you see something suspicious report it to officers who will be all over the parade route.  Those sitting in the seats along the route will get their bags checked.  More than 3 million spectators and tens of thousands of marchers will be at Thursday's parade in Manhattan which kicks off at 9:00 a.m.

Chief Monahan says security will be tight for the balloon inflation viewing the night before the parade as well.
