The first civilian tour of Fort Knox in nearly 40 years confirms the gold is still there.
Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin and U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell yesterday were part of the first trip inside the gold vaults at the fort in decades. Governor Bevin said it was quite an ordeal to get into and out of the vault, he said his takeaway is that the nation's gold reserve is "safe."
